Imperial Auto opens its R&D Centre in Faridabad, Haryana, India

Imperial Auto is opening its R&D Centre / Innovation Centre in Delhi NCR, Faridabad, Haryana state very soon. The centre will be the First Technology Centre in India. First Phase of expansion is in full swing. This will be inaugurated in coming months soon.

The R&D Centre will feature the latest Imperial Auto innovations, applications and products that address local market needs in automotive segment and provides Technical Support to the company’s manufacturing facilities in India. This R&D Centre will bring the power of IAI manufacturing units and to our customers as we work to uncover unmet needs and create value-adding solutions to global challenges.

Tarun Lamba, Director, Imperial Auto, said that the centre will employ about 20 officials who will collaborate with other 120 Imperial Auto employees who are engaged to develop speciality Rubber Hoses and related Fuel Transmission products. He communicated that we are investing in R&D to work on future needs and to provide a complete solution to customers. We are very optimistic for our future growth, he said.

Spread over 85,004 square Feet, R&D Centre is located in Faridabad, Haryana state. It will promote the culture of innovation, creativity and development in our various wings i.e. Metals, Polymers (Rubbers and Speciality Plastics), Assemblies. R&D Centre will be a tool for Continuous improvement of product reliability based on unique methods of analysis and evaluation. This will be pooling up of knowledge of new raw material, Substitution, New Product development and its substitution etc.

 Beyond having Product Test Laboratory and Validation Labs, the facility will inspire working environment. It has discussion rooms and having a theme to work with interdisciplinary groups to discuss and to come to solutions in a faster way. It will also help them to improve the quality of innovation.
